Rhodesian Teak

Rhodesian teak is a reddish brown wood. Its a dense hardwood which makes it a difficult wood to work with but, is highly resistant to insect attack and rot. Due to its hardness and longevity it is highly prized in furniture making. This product in the Rhodesian Teak has been given a superb finish and will last for years to come.

Blackwood

Its name is misleading as the wood is not black at all. The high levels of Tannins stain ones hands black when worked hence its name. The colors vary from a light golden brown to various dark shades of brown. Blackwood is an excellent hardwood used excessively in cabinetry and boat building.

Saligna

Saligna is a hardwood, even textured and reasonably easy to work. Mostly used in general building construction, panelling, and boat-building, and is highly prized for flooring and furniture because of its rich dark honey colour.
